To All,
I only had two banquet tickets that were unsold at my table of (for) ten. These two tickets were sold within five minutes of my first post, here on the chipboard, I made a few days ago. I am sorry I have no more banquet tickets. Thanks for all the inquires.
It would appear to me that in the future there must be a way the club could make a few tickets available for last minute circumstances. Perhaps we could hold back say one table for ten, I am sure it would sell out without any problems. I've had requests from three sets of two individuals, who because of last minute changes are now able to come to the banquet. I understand all the logistics of seating, paying the host hotel in advance, etc. but there has got to be a way. The club is losing revenue regardless of how small it may be. After all, revenue is revenue and we should be able to come up with some idea to satisfy the last minute requests. Maybe the club could charge a few dollars more for the last minute inconvenience. People change their mind because circumstances change. We should be able to come up with "something" to satisfy the last minute demand.
