Issue #43; pages 17-18, blue was the only color

Doug's story in a nutshell...Pros Goumond, one of the owners of the Boulder Club, had some of the Boulder Club chips when the Boulder Club closed...including the BC chips. Pros gave some Boulder Club chips to Mayme Stocker (owner of the Northern Club) to use in a private pan game (he says this was a favorite game of hers). In the early 1970's Mayme passed away and a private collector bought the chips from her estate. The collector passed away recently (as was written in October of 2007) and Doug got the chips from his estate along with notes on their provenance. Doug says 160 of the blue BC pieces in well-worn condition. Sounds like there were 49 of the $2.00 Boulder Club pan chips, 132 blue small crown Boulder Club pan chips and 127 brown Boulder Club pan chips found with the blue BC chips.

Congrats on finding a new color! grin
