Cripes, did you even read this thread before jumping in?
This is not about getting good deals on eBay, it's about a seller having the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early if he gets a better offer from another source. He most definitely DOES have that right, and many here seemed to unaware fo the facts regarding that issue. I inserted myself into the discussion to set the record straight, since I've been down that road many times, on both sides of the issue.
Now, your accusing me of taking advantage of a seller? Did I offer the seller more money after ther auction ended? Of course not, and what's your basis for the question?
I placed a last second proxy bid of $22.50 per chip, there was only one other bidder who bid about $5.95 per chip, so when the auction ended I got them for the $6.00 per chip amount. Fair and square.
What does that have to do with canceling bids and ending an auction early?
