after 13 days in the hospital, and 2 major back operations, am moving like a turtle. I guess I have expected way too much in this short period of time. If the covnention were next week, I would not be able to attend. Hopefully in the next 3 weeks, I will make enough progress to atleast come to the splashbar & visit.

Had a surprise visit at my daughters home yesterday, (am staying there as it more handicap accessible) from MIKE P. THANKS MIKE. Also, when I was in the hospital, Jim Follis stopped buy. I sure was surprised, as he lives in Tuscon most of the time. That helped & was very imporant to me. THANKS JIM.

Have had a terrible time sleeping, but last night I did very well, so hopefully I have turned the corner there.

I want to thank everyone for your kind words, have always said chippers are the BEST, friends or not, we seem to stick together.

I know FRED has been ill, hope he is doing better NOW.

I will post later when I am feeling better. Am told 6 months to a year recovery time, because of the second operation. Not the same now, but am still breathing. What really suck is that I have tickets for NOTRE DAME vs USC game in October & will probably not be able to go.
