If you already know how to recognize a bogus PayPal email, good for you. If you don't, you need to check out the security link on their website.
DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS in emails you receive from PayPal especially if they are "notifying" you of a payment you made. Just change your security information ay paypal .com and then call paypal to make sure you don't end up with a headache like the one I have now!
I was able to stop everything rather quickly as I was at my desk when it hit the fan but it could have been A LOT worse. These guys hit me four times in less than 5 minutes for $200 a pop! I caught the first one and immediately went to paypal to change my security features and by the time I was done they had hit me three more times.
