I started collecting Ky illegals in roughly 1963.
Martin Miller operator of the closed Merchants Club a Ky illegal gave me a bag of chips one night while we were playing poker.
He said "hang onto these boy, they will be worth something someday."
In the bag was a Flamingo Bugsy chip. Martin went to LV quite often to shoot craps. I had no clue the value of the chip.

His wife "Nicki Ball" was murdered at the Desert Inn, the book Syndicate Wife was based on her.

He told me that same night, "boy you better learn what they are doing to you, if you want to survive at poker. " I took a crash course from him a a couple others. I figure I learned enough to survive almost 50 years.
