Maybe you shouldn’t be thinking… maybe you should just use common etiquette like other contest runners do on the board. You should know that you absolutely ruined the broadcast for MANY people, including Greg Susong, who had to alter your post.

It’s really not up to you to determine who sees what and when. It turns out that there are a lot of people who go on the internet and try to avoid reality show results… and most sites do not post the winners in headers. My hope page is Yahoo, and there was not a trace of the winner’s name on the home page the next day.

As for your remarks: "Some people will cry about anything" and "maybe something should be done about people wanting to bitch about anything and everything…," they were entirely uncalled for. You can make excuses all day long, but there is no way you can avoid the blame here. Time to man up. What you need to do is apologize, not try to defend your actions.
