OK Jim - my Top 10 chips

1. Fairly common chip, but it was the one that started me chip collecting. I was at the "ear bite" fight and sat down at a blackjack table and spotted one. Took it home as souvenir along with a couple of $1 house chips. Got home, went on to see if there were other fight chips issued, and the rest is history.

2. Autographed chip. Only two known to exist. Lewis would not sign over his face, so he signed the reverse. It was obtained for me by David Spragg. I did not know him that well at the time. He knew I was a big boxing fan and would pay a premium for the chip. He sold it to me for face.

3. Only two known to exist. The rest were destroyed. The most common reason I have heard for their destruction is that Don King had a problem with them.

4. Another chip I had been searching for the longest time. Only one I had ever seen previously was a notched chip owned by Gene Trimble. Stu "The Count" Lovett found one and sent it to me - "no charge".

5. A prop chip from the movie "Boiler Room" and a scan from the film.

6. $100 prop chip from the fictional "Teddy KGBs" casino from the movie "Rounders". If I could only have one chip from this film, this would be the one. Also, a scan from the film:

7. $10,000 prop chip from the movie "Ocean's Thirteen". I have never seen another for sale.

8. $500 chip from the "ear bite" fight.

9. Notched boxing chip from Atlantic City. Never released. I have heard that there are some un-notched chips out there, but I have never seen one.

10. $10,000 chip from the upcoming movie "The Hangover". Release date is June 5, 2009. The reason this chip had to make it into my Top 10 is because Mike Tyson is in the film.
