It's time again to make plans to attend The Chip Board Get-Together held in conjunction with CCGTCC convention in June.

Everyone is invited. There are usually around 150 people in attendance each year. It is a great way to kick of your convention activities by meeting all the people that you talk with every day on The Chip Board.

The Palms sets aside a nice big area for us in the back overlooking Skin, the pool bar. There is plenty of room to eat, move around, laugh talk and have fun both inside and outside.

Each person is responsible for their own meal, separate checks will be provided.

I have been known to bring a party favor. grin Gene Trimble of the Palms has something for us on occasion also.

Again, everyone is invited. Please email me with your name and the names of those in your party. Sheldon Smith works hard every year to make name tags for all those attending and the more that can be made in advance, the better. Also, we like to give the Palms some heads up on the numbers we are expecting so that they can be sure the staff is prepared. If you have already let me know, please, there is no need to email me again.

If for any reason you don't let me know you are coming and then find out at the last minute that you are able to come, please go ahead and come. Don't let the fact that you didn't notify me in advance keep you from showing up.

If you don't have a car available, it should still be pretty easy to get to the Palms. The people with cars are usually very willing to provide a lift for a person or two. I would guess that since the South Point is so far away from all the other casinos that there will be an increase this year in the number of people that rent cars. Just let it be known that you need a ride and one should be easy to find.
