Nevada Inlay Fractional of the Day

We stay at the Showboat on the Vegas strip for today's 2 chips. Left to right, they are 7th and 6th issue 50 centers, N7206 and N2147, released in the 1970s and 1980s.

Yes, there is a contradiction on the issues and release dates in the US Price Guide and TCR, but that is what makes this hobby so lovable.

The folks at Showboat liked the design of that 1960s small crown so much, they just couldn't get away from it. The inlay remained unchanged, and they also kept the anchor pink color, but shrunk the complimentary purple to 3 edgespots, dressed up by a more modern H&C mold. These two are almost identical to each other, the only difference being the variation in the boldness of the text -- lighter on the left, darker on the right.
