An even rarer PR chip ...

I believe, although I could be wrong, that these are the only two examples known for the Casino De Puerto Rico, 1923. Although only letters, the chips are one of the nicest and classiest chips I own. I did make several inquiries and have not found a c&s or PR collector that has them. Now I don't believe I have ask you John. Do you know of this chip. I bought one from Avee many years ago. The other I'm not sure.

Interesting but the chip was considered an unknown until I saw the USPC order card (lucky for me):

I assume 2 things kept this chip as unknown: 1) it was delivered to New York; and, 2) the name of the distributor was misspelled. Anyone familiar with USPC chips knows that a large percentage of USPC chips bound for the Caribbean or South America were first shipped to NY for shipment abroad. Gonzalez Padin Co. was large Department store in San Juan, PR.
