With this chip being the earliest all pink fractional I have from Vegas, the Riviera might have followed the lead of Harrahs Reno/Tahoe of a few years earlier when they started their string of pink 25 centers. This chip is simple with a touch of class due to the inlay design which features the trademark casino name font and the crest above. "the .... hotel" distinguishes it from the more common pink $.50 cousins of the 1990s.
