Election of YOUR club officers is in progress. Even though there is only one contested position, it is still very important that you cast your vote. One of the real down-sides of having candidates running unopposed is that voter "turn-out" drops off dramatically. And then we have to hear that only a few hundred members (out of 1800 or so current members) took the time to fill out & send in their ballots. Support your club...vote for the candidate that you feel will best serve the as Club Secretary -- but please VOTE!!

There are also two amendments that are being voted on...take a look at those & vote for what you feel is best for the -- but please VOTE!!

Follow the instructions on the ballots to also ensure that your vote will count -- name & membership number of all members' ballots if sent in one envelope. Envelopes have to be postmarked no later than May 15th and received by the Election Chairpersons no later than May 20th.

And next year, think about running for a position. We should NEVER have only one candidate running for each position. Too late for this year, but next year three BoD positions will be up for election (Vice-President, Treasurer & Membership Officer). You've got plenty of time to think about it...but in the meantime PLEASE VOTE!!
