Thanks.. I like the "Antiques Roadshow" suggestion
In Response To: Re: Eisenhower Poker Chip Set ()

... I read on ChipTalk.

Best of luck with showing and selling the set.

I was once involved with remnants of a presidential set that came over from Cuba. I was called down to Miami to inspect the first 12 pieces made available in the USA (proper). The pieces were European-cut [design] natural Mother-of-Pearl and made for President Jose Miguel Gomez, 1909-1913... They carried the monogram of the president and, when turned over, they were distinctly seen as being from CUBA.

The pieces were beautiful; shimmering, thick and weighty... something like rock-hard sugar candy, if you get my drift.

I placed both 6-piece type sets as quickly as possible... and I was very content with where they were mainted under cabinet... and later, one 6-piece set was viewed on National TV; on The Home Network. Those six pieces can be seen on page 34, "Antique Gambling Chips" Revised Edition, by Dale Seymour.

Since, additional pieces have been made available.
