It is an SU chip. Jims book has it at $3500. On the good side, it is R-9, Las Vegas, decent inlay.
On the bad side, the economy, the Holiday Queen casino is not the top target of many collectors, and while it is a very rare chip, I didn't think it was one bidders would lose their heads over.
You never know with R-9 Vegas though.......
so, I took the positives and negatives, and figured the negative probably de-valued the guide price by about 30%.
Came close, that was my thought process.
It is alot easier to gauge the value on R-4 to R-7's. Once you get to these chips, alls it takes is two bidders who really want it and the price could have easily exceeded the guide.
