Re: The future of on-line chipping
In Response To: The future of on-line chipping ()

Your 100% correct on all points including "old peoples" inability to learn new tricks. I got trained to P and now my thinking precludes the ability to cross over watching that stupid Star spini around all day while trying to get back and forth from the message and the index to read more messages. Prodigy BB becames so conveneient since I learned after 4 years that I am afraid to leave it since it si the only source that is quick to get my messages out. Sometimes, I cannot even get Susongs and it takes sooooooo long for me to log on. Then, I have to scroll through 465 small responses to a lot of prattle to find anything about chips.
The real problem is at my end. From having John Yee discover my home phone lines too old to carry electrical current to work the new systems to a few other helpful chippers finding my thinking does not fit computor age media. Whatever, I got tired of all the bull on here and went back to Prodigy to revive interest and afraid the same will happen there and drive chippers away. All I want to do is talk and hear about chipping, chips, more chips, and what chippers want to trade, sell, etc. All the periphery issues are inane. Chipping got to where its at because collectors wanted chips and most did not care whether the club carried some funny logo CCGTCC,,,PCTmACGoGo .....ACLU or whatever...they did not care if some uninformed yokels were selling or buying fantasy chips, and they did not argue an awful lot about anything because they were busy trading, searching flea markets, visiting casino personnel, and gambling, GAMBLING, gambling. .........with CHIPS CHIPS CHIPS.....
