A few weeks ago it seemed I had almost no shot at getting into the top nine. I felt I had to get a win and at least couple of 2nd or 3rds to have a chance.

It just goes to show that any of the players at the bottom of the standings can get back in it if they have a good couple of weeks. There is still a lot of poker left to be played and I know there are others capable of staging their own comeback. I hope I can hang on and stay in the top nine. It will be an interesting last few weeks to see how it all shakes out.

It’s too bad there isn’t a $1500 event during week of our convention. It would have been so much to watch whoever wins our league play that same week.

(I did have an early bow out last week and had actually won the week prior).
