Fitz Tunica to close?

One of the stories I heard this week was a rumor that the Fitz in Tunica may close. I don't know if owner Barden did a chap 11 or not - the dealers thought that he did but were not sure. While there have been layoffs the casino was not as dead as I expected. In fact, Thursday nite (day before Good Friday) it was actually very busy. Hollywood would not let us do a late checkout Thursday morning since they were full that nite.

Where was the bad beat when you need it? I was playing 3-6 at Hollywood and had not won a hand for about 2 hours. I was ready to leave and only had $8 in chips so I put out a $20. I got a great hand and got all of my money back. I won the next hand and got more. By the 3rd or 4th hand everyone figured that I HAD to be bluffing so they were betting into me. Flop comes J-J-A and I have A-A. Turn is another Ace. vbg vbg Where is the guy with the pair of Jacks in his hand when you need him??? Not only that but they had an aces cracked bonus wheel good for $25-$500. Of course I won that one and one or two more before crawling off to bed. I went from $80 down to +$250 in about 15 minutes. Sometimes you are the fire hydrant and sometimes you are the big dog. And I am a stud palyer and don't really like Hold'em grin
