I ended up with around 150 black, 60 blue and around 40 purple chips, there were also some El Cortez small crown roulette chips in the mix. I traded a few of the chips off, ended up sending most of them to a great friend in Las Vegas named Marc Weiser for consignment, Marc ended up passing away from complications from diabetes in 1997. I never pressed the family about the chips... I knew they had value, but I only paid $20 for the chips and he was such a great chipper friend.
So if you ended up with a black faro chip from the Stardust it was probably because of my greatest find. Now you know the rest of the story.
