Rich, there is a very good answer for the hole and the slice on
this chip. The person or persons who retired this series, both
the $5 & $25, thought that drilling wasn't good enough so they
also took stacks of chips and held the stack on a grinder.
Every one that I have seen is like yours. Doug Saito remarked
that the only cancell not performed was an overstamp.<G>
