Nevada Inlay Fractional of the Day

Now we're talking! A nice building pic chip from Harvey's in Lake Tahoe. This is the 10th issue $.25, N5154, released in the 1970s.

For those who have never been, the setting is unbelievable. On one side the deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe (12x25 miles, elevation 6000+), on the other one of the many snow-capped mountains rising another 4000 feet that surround the lake. Tall stands of Ponderosa pines everywhere... cool breezes...

The chip is nice, too. Nice large key mold on a navy chip. The yellow edgespots split with orange anchoring the warm tones of the casino pic. Nice Harvey's script in red, tilted just so for a bit of style.
