I was given #249 from the casino's marketing director. During St. Patrick's Day when the Bad Beat Jackpot was hit I got #150 since I was a player in the room and managed to buy #148, #149, and #151 from players at my table. As you can see they hand them out in numeric order. The following day one of my poker buddies said that he forgot to cash his in and Ebro said that it was no longer valid, so I bought his #120 as well. That makes a total of 6 wooden nickels.
Mark bought #120 and Larry bought #150. I'm keeping #249. They only ordered 249 nickels and higher numbers are rarer. I put #149 on eBay at the link below and still have #148 and #151 for sale/trade. As hard as it is to hit the quads-beat jackpot it was hit twice on St. Patrick's Day. The 2nd time it was hit there was not a minimal amount of money on the house pool, so only the winning table got paid. No wooden nickels we handed out for the house. Amazingly, I was at Ebro yesterday for their Harley give-away and the Bad Beat Jackpot was hit again! Still, not enough money in the house pool, hence no wooden nickels. I don't know how often a quads-beat jackpot is suppose to hit in a 22-table poker room that's only open 12 hours a day and is usually less than half full, but after not hitting at all in 2008 it's been hit 4 times now in 2009. Hope this answers the mail.
