I am thinking it may be time I have to replace my laptop and buy a second one for home. I use my work laptop for work and recreation at home (chip stuff, excel, photoshop kind of stuff). It needs dvd and cd reading and writing, a decent memory, but nothing too demanding. I want a second for simple web-browsing, word-processing and making dvds with photos, power point projects or word files on them. I think we may get a docking station at home to replace the desktop, which is now almost completely useless. My Dell seemed fine, but I did not like being tied to them for repairs. My docking station at work is Dell, as are my monitor and one of my printers. I suppose I should consider compatibility issues (although I can replace them, cost is an issue). Any suggestions?
