Yes, Dodd did clam up at first until he was advised to spill the beans... but, even then, he explained fully who, where, when and why the changes were made... Will we ever know if any legal action would have followed if not; I do not know.

Bottom line is that the general public is outraged (and there is enough blame to go around) and steps had to be taken to correct the problem... and prevent it from happening again.

Please do not suggest these heads at AIG are the only heads in the world and if they walk we're all doomed.
