Well at least you didn't succumb to the temptation to call the chip "rare" Steve ... but if you had, no one could fault you for it.<g> It would appear that this chip is truly a very tough issue to find. Which brings me to my question: How does one arrive at the position of "4-7 known"? Who has done survey's or population reports of which chips are residing in thousands of private collections? How does anyone know for example which Nevada chips I may have in my collection? How about Joe Doakes' or Sussie Smith's collections? I'm not trying to be confrontational, nor am I attempting to put doubt on the quoted census numbers for this particular chip. Just wondering how that arbitrary figure is arrived at.
