We reach the final $.50 chip produced by the Flamingo, 10th issue, N1597, released in 1977.

While this pretty-in-pink chip was a clean break from the purple $.50s of the last few days, the inlay design and mold remained unchanged. Maybe they just wanted to be done with that whole $.50 thing.

I like the tight look of the chip with the pink on pink.
