Jim, I don't disagree with you that it could be taken as both lame and insulting. The question is why have we as a whole become so sensitive and politically correct.
If someone were to make a joke or what might be considered some form of a slur against a WASP it's considered fair game. At the same time, heaven forbid you poke fun at almost ANY ethnic group were it meant as harmless or not someone always comes out of the woodwork to take it as racist.

You might remember someone on this board only recently using the term "your boy" Right away someone had to jump on that one too

Look at all the statistics as to who is on welfare, who the illegals are, who the terrorists are, who commits the crimes in this country, who the prisons are filled with yet heaven forbid that you mention it by race or creed

There is no question that the vast majority of terrorism both inside and outside this country has occured as a result of middle eastern fundamentalists yet heaven forbid we single them out. Instead we search 90 year old ladies in wheel chairs to insure they aren't carrying bombs.
