Be careful, I also remember a caution/warning about trying to unwarp hot-stamped chips in the microwave. The metal is the HS can cause problems.

I'd also suggest going to a local glass shop and getting a couple of scraps of 1/4" (or thicker) glass about 3" by 3". You can put the chip between the 2 pieces of glass and then set something like a quart Mason jar of water on top of it for weight.
