I think he is right that AC has far more to offer than any current or future local gambling jurisdiction, but I also think there is a sector of the gambling world that only care about feeding the slot machines for several hours and will stay "local(NY, PA, or MD)". I have no idea what the impact of that population NOT coming to AC as much as they used to has on the bottom line. If Revel is similar to The Borgata, it will have a very positive impact on AC and probably help the Showboat, Taj and Resorts. You have to wonder when Revel does open whether there will be more of a negative impact on the 2 casinos at the other end of the boardwalk(Trop and Hilton)? Other than the restaurants in the quarter of the Tropicana, I can't see myself ever going down to that area when Revel opens.
