NSC chip ID - a shot in the dark - Louisiana

First, let me state that the NSC chip will remain an unknown until such evidence is uncovered that I can feel a compelling case was made for an attribution. Having said that, I received an email with an intriguing possibility: New Southport Club.

There are very few ringed chips. Besides the 3 below I only know of the Floridians, Cal Neva (actually the ring is thinner than the others), the unknown MAKs (rings are only black) and a Chesterfield Club number 20. Ringed chips probably represent less than .005% of c&s styles. With so few rings, oddly enough Louisiana has two (Club Forest & Old Southport). The Old Southport and NSC were both purchased from BC Wills in 1936. The Club Forest $100 and NSC have the same color combination (I have found that some color/designs were ordered based on what the purchaser was familiar with --- such as the Club Forest). The font style doesn't appear that important as the New Southport used 2 completely different styles in the chips shown below.

What I've pointed out is not much. However it may be a lead worth pursuing. Now I've got to get opinions from Al Kleindienst and Clinton Boyle. Any other Louisiana experts out there?
