You just HAD to use KOREA! LOL North Korea is one of the WORST in counterfieting American currency@! (Mainly the $100 though). THAT is the place I WOULD question it!! LOL
I have read in BEP publications that they have been extremely resistant to design change in paper money because it is the most recognized currency in the world and the most trusted. Because of that the designs have come slowly and the general 'look' of the currency has been consistant through the changes. I fully agree the people are resistant to change.
As far as stubbernly changing? The $1 coins have been around a long time, no change there.... no one uses them. Just like the 50ยข and $2.... no one REFUSES them, but no one uses them either.
