This is sort of a good news bad news post. the good news is she is feeling less pain. They have regulated the pain medicine. Everything has been removed except a plug in the neck which is an if needed thing. and she is still on oxygen. She was eating solid foods today. She was getting up walking a little today & was spending more time in a chair than in bed. She was taken out of the Heart intensive care unit & put in a private room. now the bad news. Her blood sugar went dangerously high today. She was given a shot of insulin. If they can not get the blood sugar regulated it could effect the healing process. Before this she was told that she might be getting released from the hospital Sunday or Monday. We just have to wait & see what happens. Will keep you posted. Thanks, Al
