Truly, I don't know what ever happened to GM.
At one time they were the leader in design. Say what you will but even though people are more concerned about quality and mileage cars are still sold by looks.
Where once they turned out what imho were the most beautiful cars, cars like the 65' Buick Riviera, now looking at cars like the new Pontiacs I can see why they are talking about shutting down that division also.
Today's news reports that GM might not survive. That of course brings up another question which is why are we pouring more money into a bottomless pit but that's another story.
You might consider reading a book called Wheels, though dated, it gives you some insight as to how GM works or should I say doesn't work.
