I own a moderately successful catering company in NY, and I LOVE GRITS. I'd eat them 3 times a day if I could. I have been on a mission to turn the local heathen into grits loving rednecks. I incorporate grits into many BBQ-themed dishes. It is fun to watch the scrunched up "what the heck is that" faces turn into a big 'ol smile after some blue-blood tries my Grilled and Glazed Shrimp over Cheesy Bacon Grits. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm now I gotta go simmer me some.
