I think the tower designation is applied by the same machine that puts your name and number on the card, Michael. Not technically a different card, at least by the criteria of those who write the book (I agree). I'd like to know though if there are other marked designations besides "resort rooms" and "tower suites"; those appear to be the two categories of accommodations on the Wynn web site.

The star is also put on by the machine and designates invited guests (access to certain lounges and check-in areas).
