Imho, a bit more complex than it seems

For starters, we have to look at all three Trump properties not two. Even after the pricing on the proposed sale of the Trump Marina was dropped from $315 Million to $270 million, as of this date there had been no announced financing plan by the prospective purchasers. In addition there also seem to be some stumbling blocks in regards to licensing and even the use of the Margaritaville name.
Take into consideration the previous almost sales of Trump properties and I wouldn't bet on it happening.

If you read the articles in the A/C Press, you will note that Trump offered to purchase the properties back from the banks but his offer was refused.
When Trump resigned from the board, he made several appearances on shows like Larry King etc. to not only promote his new celebrity apprentice show but to also let the world know that he no longer is connected to the casinos other than his contractual obligations. To me, nothing more than a ploy on his part.

The Donald might be considered a weasel by many but he still is a good business man. He may have stepped down from the board but to the best om my knowledge, he still owns in excess of 20% of the stock.
It would not surprise me in the least if he buys it all back at a fire sale somewhere down the road.
If he has to use his "Trump Card" and threaten to remove his name from the properties it will further devalue a possible sale and make it even easier for him to regain full control

No, I would not be a bit surprised that when the smoke clears, if he once again becomes the major stockholder calling all the shots
