I was up in Cripple Creek this afternoon. The Gold Rush finally released some limited edition sets that have been the subject of speculation for several months amongst Colorado chip collectors. The new chips commemorate Bobby C's poker room. They issued 100 sets of $1, $5, $25, and $100 chips (an example is shown in the scan below.) They also issued 300 sets of $1, $5 and $25 chips, but when I was there, these chips weren't in the Dewitt holders, they were available in matching numbered sets of loose chips. They also issued 100 unnumbered $1 chips, limited to 5 per collector, and in the case of Lee and Carolyn Bruton, who were there at the same time as I was, 5 chips per married couple. I didn't know about the unnumbered $1 chips until Lee told me about them, so, thank you very much my friend!
