misunderstand what I am saying. I do not doubt your chip... it is beautiful and you have the "PREFERED" collection & knowledge of the Crest & Seal chips... that is not in question. My question is simply this... with all the thousands of hours that Dale and many other early experts spent cataloging the antique chips, and the unbelievable hours spent to the attention of the details... this is one detail that is somehow left out... My question is simply this... is there two variations of this chip? Yours that is a ONE OF A KIND... That is Not in question. Is there a possibilty that there is a variation of this same chip? Oh by the way...
There was a C&S chip listed on ebay this week that the seller had the history of the chip in his listing. I used ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION... "Please tell me... where did you get the attribution for this chip?" His response was... I got it from this great web site... and he gave me the link...
