Given all the recent posts about buying and holding gold and silver I thought it would be nice to share Dick Graves approach at the Nugget in Sparks. He was trying to avoid the Federal prohibition against private citizens holding gold - the law has since been rescinded. He had a unique solution to the problem though - thinking outside the box I guess. He just had his gold cast into a piece of art. Here are some of the advertising item related to his Gold Rooster - a plate, two large decanters, a small decanter, an ashtray, and a salt and pepper set.
