Sorry to hear about the shipping woes being voiced on the board today. I think dealers should be more aware of this issue. I realize everyone is busy, but if a customer is insisting on confirmation of receipt of a shipment/trade, he probably has good reason. All it takes is a razor blade, a tape gun, and 30 seconds for a clerk in a rewrap station, a sorter, or a package car driver to take whatever he has a mind to take. The best we can do is be careful and insure. Obliviousness to the issue is not a reassuring strategy.
