The "OLD" notes you got have security features too, just not the latest ones. As they wear out they will be replaced with new notes with the new features. Counterfieting can never be STOPPED just slowed down and made harder. Even with all the modern features the one feature that often allows a counterfiet to pass is YOU (and I). We trust our money so much we seldome look close at it. It is good our money has so much trust in it but it also makes it easy to pass a counterfiet.
