I guess you could loose weight playing pool ,build up some arm strenght. My experience with the Gem Bar was back in the 60's.They were inlarging the basement when they dug into a 1870's outhouse that had been built over . Many old bottles were uncovered ,including two Jewel Old Bourbon whiskeys among others like Jesse Moore Whiskey etc. As of 2002 there are seven of these bottles known .Todays value about 10K.
Back when I was hunting all over Nevada for old bottles I should have also been hunting chips .I remember at the Reno and las Vegas bottle shows 40 years ago there was this super aggressive kid collecting Nevada bottles . He knew how to horsetrade like nobody I had ever met before . He went on to collect other things but now he is back at building a bottle collection. The kid ---- Jim Campiglia
