Here is what Doug said:

Whomever you must be talking about surely isn't trying to balance a budget in running their state as a governor does... If they really did care, they would have backed the three Republicans who supported the bill along with 22 Republican governors who are seriously trying to meet the needs of the people....

This is not the time to stand on the senate floor looking like a fool to the whole world... especially in front of the millions who lost or are about to lose their jobs, homes business and life savings. It's a time to unite, instead.
