The last few minutes begins to show the producers opinions, it is otherwise very factual. The clip implies we should get back on a gold standard, but the problem with that is there has not been enough gold mined in history to back just the US currency. I believe total amount of gold mined to date is somewhere around 6.5 trillion dollars worth. That would be a small down payment to our national debt. Next with global economy there are other forces at work influencing our money.

The path is being greased for a single world currency. Whether that will happen remains to be seen and even then would not fix the problems but just change the people in control. The problems we are facing other countries are also seeing (look at Zimbabwe to name one). We are not alone. The problems go way beyond Obama, Dem/Rep or even the USA.
