Obsolete when the government closed the private casinos. I'm not clear what the situation is in Panama now as there do seem to be government supervised private casinos again.

The ones shown are the only type I've seen in searching for the past 8-10 years. BTW, that's genuine Panama Canal dirt on these chips [g].
