Re: in '86 the US okayed casinos
Hi Ron, That is not correct. All states but two(Utah and Hawaii) allow some form of gambling, be it's lotteries, bingo machines, card rooms, etc. The last time I checked there were 13 states that did not have some type of casino. This does not include cruise ships and day cruise ships which may sail from a non-casino state port but still do not operate within the respective state. Nebraska is boderline and has a place in Grand Island that features keno machines and an on/off Indian casino in the northeastern part of the state. Alabama now has a bingo casino. Maryland has charity casinos and is toying with the real thing, and several states on the list could open something any day. For now, the 13 non-casino states are Texas, Utah, Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, Hawaii, South Carolina, New Hampshire(coming soon), Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Massachutes, and Vermont.
