Look at these two chips. both are in excellent condition. One is 8-10 months newer than the other. The lettering in the hotstamp is a bit different between them, noticible best when looking at the space between the "F" and the "O" in the word "California" and the shape of the letters. There is a noticable difference to my eyes, but would this be considered a "variation". I'm guessing that one of these chips i a reorder.
