I'm sure there is no scientific basis to what I just pondered, but I've never been a big A-Rod fan. I'd take Griffey Jr. in his prime or Manny and his baggage over A-Rod any day. It's a shame Grif got injured. On the other hand, probably the only reason these guys stay healthy to break the big records are because of the juice.

I hope no one I root for shows up in the news. Dark days for baseball.
