Apparently the gentleman who passed away(the estate that I found them) had something to do with Pokerstars(as in partner or major shareholder), he played poker all over the globe so he had lots of chips that his brother unwisely decided to throw in the garbage . Luckily the man's wife and a friend were able to salvage some of the chips and I was able to buy the whole bag.
There were many $5.00 LE chips from Vegas and about 20 of these particular ones as well. I cannot even imagine what was thrown out. I was told that he was also a well known movie critic in his younger days and he had original movie posters going back 45 some odd years and they were all thrown out as well!!!!
Sad...but at least some of these things will stay in circulation.
