While I was putting away my Rubbermaid boxes of swizzle sticks (500 sticks in each box), I started thinking; I just might have too many collectibles. So here is my Top Ten list on “how to tell if you’re an obsessive collector” Sad but true I do fit all 10 items.

10. You receive more boxes and padded envelopes on an average month that you do all other pieces of mail…. including junk mail.

9. You have more friends who are collectors than friends from work, church, and high school.

8. You have over a 500 (or higher) rating on eBay and you have never sold anything on your account.

7. You look at an item(s) in you collection as a thing of beauty while others don't understand why you think it's valuable or why you would spend money on it.

6. Your friends and family know if they are going on a trip near a casino, or on a cruise, they need to stop and pick you something up from the casino.

5. Your only published works are about collecting or are in collecting publications.

4. You have spent more money on collectibles in one month than you do on your car payment (or in some cases house payment during the convention)

3. You plan your vacation trip so you can stop at a few casinos along the way (if you vacation isn’t already set for a casino destination.

2. You have a room (or more) in you house devoted to your collectibles

1. The guide value of your collection is worth more than you 401K
